This year our annual holiday celebration was held at Sobrante Park Elementary. There, surrounded by our students and their families, staff memebers, and stake holders, we celebrated and reflected back on all of our achievements from the 2011-2012 School Year! Our students gave performances, parents gave thank you's, staff received awards, and the unity was felt through out the room as we clapped and smiled each time an award was given.

 At the end of the celebration, the coveted "Site of the Year Award" is annouced. This award is given to the site that has met and exceeded Higher Ground's Standards of excellence! We are proud to annouce that this year's award went to:
